In the mid 60's, a trumpet player named "Clyde McCoy" had asked VOX for a device that could simulate the sound of a muted trumpet. So the VOX Clyde McCoy wah-wah was born in 1966, with a picture of Clyde on the bottom. Moollon Vint Age Wah is based on the early wahs like pre-Clyde McCoy in '66, Clyde McCoy in '67, and V846 in '69. The same spec of capacitors as pre-Clyde McCoy were used for wah's Q point range and inductors - one of the most important parts for the authentic sound - are all handmade one by one to the exact spec of those "small center hole" inductors in '67 Clyde McCoy wahs. All the other parts are of the spec of '68 V846 for the clear and transparent sound. CTS pots - the closest to the original ICAR - were used for smooth sweep and open sound. All these handmade and selected parts guarantee the top quality wah sound.
You can also choose one of the two bypass options :
Split Bypass - Sounds are compatible with each other when bypassed or turned ON. A kind of treble loss occurs when bypassed, which results in warm and mellow tone,
one of the contributing factors to those gutsy sounds in 1960's. Also this character can be utilized to make a fuzz pedal sound clearer and more transparent by preceding it in the signal chain.
True Bypass - Almost no treble loss when bypassed. Recommended for
hi-fi sounds with wide frequency range with wah as an occasional special effect.

Having the highest output of the Moollon VS series, The VS-64 model exhibits deeper low-end and a nicely driving midrange. Being comparatively overwound, individual pickups vary from 6.2Kohm to 6.7Kohm in resistance output and are randomly finished as such, with deeper, longer wound pickups displaying an overall lower sound. With a full bottom end characteristic of the “Texas Sound” and output that more easily yields a well-driven feel, one can really experience classic 1960s tone with the VS-64 series. Featuring vintage-spec sandcast AlNiCo5 magnets and 42AWG plain enamel magnetic coil coupled with "60s-spec black and gray handworked bobbins and cloth covered wire, this handmade pickup is true to the originals it was made after. *As with the "tall D" of the 1954 model, the magnet on the D string sits the highest. As most modern electric guitars do not make use of a wound 3rd (G) string, the G magnet it is lowered in order to deliver a finer uniformity in volume balance.

It may be that the Moollon Standard Humbucker is simply a copy of the original PAF humbuckers that were produced in the 1950s. However, the significance of the Moollon Standard Humbucker's development can fairly be said to be a step closer to those uniquely legendary tones that simply
cannot be heard from modern humbuckers: the classic recordings of Led Zepplin, ZZ Top, Duane Allman, and Gary Moore among others.
As pickup's sound can be greatly dependent upon the method of production and even more so the materials used, the Moollon Standard Humbucker recreates the original PAF humbuckers with the method of real vintage pickup winding, along with the magnets, bobbins, and pole pieces that
are true representations of the original materials used in PAFs from the 1950s.
The characteristics that can be said to be the strength of the Moollon Standard Humbucker are how such factors contribute to the tone they produce: An accurately sensitive dynamic response, a clear and direct tone akin to the transparent feeling of single coils, a tight lower end and warm highs
Available in Cream , Black , Nickel (w/cover)

The Moollon Signal Boost features a natural boost without any tonal alteration. Up to 12 dB, this unit can be used as both a clean boost and a gain boost in the clean and the cranked-up range of an amplifier. When used for adding more gain at the maximum volume level of an amp, this unit increases the gain so naturally without clipping from
excessive distortion. This unit can be placed either before or after drive/distortion pedals boosting gain or volume level. The Moollon
GW 109S Buffer Circuit minimizes the ground noise, electrostatic noise,
loss of treble or punch, and mechanical noise(popping) from the switch by transforming the input signal into a low impedance signal under 1K ohm.

Comprised of the Moollon Compressor, Equalizer, D.I plus Signal Boost, The Moollon Custom Shop 3 Plus is a full-range effect combo suitable for all kinds of musical applications. Whether it be in the recording studio or in live situations, users of acoustic guitars and the electric bass can make quick and efficient active use of the dual Amp/Mic and direct to console outputs. The both simple yet detailed EQ controls can dial in a diverse palate of tones including useful control of feedback, in addition to taming booming-prone basses and shrill upper end tones. When it comes to leveling out the volume of the input signal, the Moollon compressor has already begun to gain acceptance as a standalone unit offering very natural compression, and is featured as the first stage of the 3 Plus. The final stage of the 3 Plus is the Signal Boost, which offers up to 12db of clean gain to the overall signal for not only bringing up the volume of weaker output pickups, but also for boosting solos or simply raising the total volume without any tonal colorization whatsoever. The transformer-balanced D.I. converts the instrument level to that of necessary mic level, with the D.I. output made suitable for either a console"s mic input or a mic preamp. Between the Compressor and Equalizer a send/return loop is conveniently placed to assist with additional pedal placement in the signal chain to offer even more diverse possibilities with tone shaping. For example, an overdrive/distortion pedal can be placed in the loop, and by dialing in a speaker simulation setting in the EQ. After setting the Low and High cut along with Mid boost, the Frequency and Bandwidth of the mids can be adjusted to create various tones suitable for direct recording. The Compressor can also be effective in jointly creating an analog tape machine simulation, and the Boost useful for saturating the console input, making the Custom Shop 3 Plus also a practical tool for shaping the possibilities of analog tone in a digital environment.

From the Woodstock era, the well known crystal-clear sound is back!
This is Moollon’s version of the core tone of that very sound, and with
the underwound coil comes a low-output sound that is ultra-clear and transparent in character. Moollon VS-69 single coil pickups come with original-spec sandcast AlNiCo5 magnets and 42AWG Plain Enamel magnetic coil coupled with true-to-the-1960s black and grey handworked bobbins and cloth-covered wire to finish this vintage-spec handmade pickup.
The result is a historically correct reproduction of the original.
A fat, warm upper end is coupled with resonant midtones and a refreshingly full bass response, producing exceptionally rich“Bell-like tones”that Moollon can now bring back from the past. As the "tall D" of the 1954 pickup specifications, the magnet on the 4th (D) string sits the highest.
As most modern electric guitars do not make use of a wound 3rd (G) string,
the G magnet it is lowered in order to reduce the difference in volume between the six strings.
