The Dual System is the most important Schertler product in the acoustic guitar amplificationdomain. The Dual combines the two main Schertler technologies, the electrostatic under-saddle transducer (BLUESTiCK) and the electro-dynamic transducer (Dyn). The BLUESTiCK®, in combination with the C-Dyn, enables the player to create a wide variety of tones. Either pickup may be selected alone, or a blend of the two may be created. The flexibility of the Dual system is complemented by its simplicity; a double rotary controller is mounted with double-sided tape inside the sound hole. The black control is used to adjust the overall volume level, while the white control is used to adjust the blend between the BLUESTiCK and the CDYN.

What about the installation?     The installation is exactly the same as for the regular BLUESTiCK, and the C-DYN that is mounted inside the guitar, below the bridge on the Bridge Plate. The C-Dyn pick-up is attached with the flat side mounted to the bridge plate - the cover of the C-DYN faces the inside of the guitar. The Dual requires no visual modification of your instrument – no more unsightly control panels, volume knobs, and so on.

BLUESTiCK Marine pocket offers the same features as the BLUESTiCK Marine, but it is designed to be used with the Schertler STAT-PRE preamplifier.The Schertler STAT-PRE preamplifier is the perfect choice for use with the Schertler series of electrostatic transducers for classic stringed instruments. Compact, versatile and easy to use, choose STAT-PRE to power electrostatic pickups while allowing control of volume. Class-A constant-current design ensures faithful sound reproduction while delivering nearly 500 hours of playing time from one 9-volt battery. STAT-PRE has a rugged cast aluminum case which can be positioned as a floor unit or equipped with a belt clip.

PUB-380 Active Bass Extension is designed to augment the PUB-280 in either PA applications or for use with bass or keyboards as a subwoofer. PUB-380 has 380W RMS powering a 10" woofer in a bass reflex enclosure. Frequency range is 35-120 Hz. The SCHERTLER PUB-380 Active SUBWOOFER System is high-powered and designed to provide undistorted music reproduction at high levels. The BASS subwoofer is the perfect complement to UNICO or DAVID for enhancing the performance of acoustic instruments producing strong bass frequencies such as double bass, acoustic bass guitar, cello, etc. This application activates the low cut feature on the UNICO or DAVID so as to have BASS fully reproduce… bass! Combined with two SIDE or PUB 280 units and thanks to its active stereophonic separation, it provides the proper foundation for your PA system (e.g., the OPERA mixer with two SIDE active loudspeakers and one BASS). The bipolar 200W RMS and the traditional power supply featuring a toroidal transformer ensure a controlled and extremely accurate and powerful bass reproduction.
